3PINT and related innovative technologies as permanent solution to mitigate corrosive sulphur in power transformers
ABSTRACT
Focus of 3PINT project is to upgrade readiness level of the innovative technology for the removal of corrosive sulphur, PCB and aging product from transformer oils. Technology itself includes chemical conversion process to refine transformer oils in eco-frendly manner. Used technology is environmentally closed with no toxic emissions and waste released into environment. In addition, innovative solution for corroded silver-plated contacts cleaning, effectively removes silver sulphide deposits from OLTC contacts, ensuring long-term reliability and complete power transformer corrosive sulphur mitigation.
Vladimir Ivancevic is working in Nikola Tesla Institute, Laboratory for paper/oil insulation testing, since 2006, as senior technician. Vladimir is a head of mobile plant operation (on-site), with more than 3000 tons of power transformers decontaminated and desulphurized using NTI patents for clients in Republic of Serbia in the last 8 years (Project for Power System of Serbia, Transmission System, UNIDO). He participated in the projects done for Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen (Germany), GE prev. Alsthom Grid, Areva (France), Hitachi Energy (Germany), EDF (France).
